- Who – Is this you as an individual ? Or your company ? Or you representing your family ?. It is imperative and ever-so important to define this very clearly – because if you are not doing it for You (or you as a collective), or do not have a clear passion to achieve this for yourself, then you will find it extremely difficult to follow-through and reach your desired outcome of Financial Success. A Wealthy Change comes from a personal change first. Write down who exactly you are doing this for (in most cases – it should be YOU).
- What – The definition of Financial Success is different to Everyone. A Wealthy Change however is exactly that – a Change in YOUR status towards Wealth. Just remember the end goal is to reach financial success or independence, but in the mean time you need a plan to get there – such as a wealthy change… one step at a time. This is your rough road map destination. Write down 2 numbers: (a) what Dollar Figure you want to achieve within 12 months in your wealthy change journey ; and then (b) what Dollar Figure your Financial Independence Figure should be: (for your financial success). To give you an idea of where your Financial Success or Independence could be, (when you can truly give up work for good), – then consider how comfortable you can live on say $50,000 per year, or $100,000 per year, then (as a rule of thumb) x this number by 25 to get a figure sum of passive income producing assets. but more on that later..
- Where – This aspect is rather Simple. Most people want to achieve their financial independence in their dream city or country town. OR it may be that you want to simply achieve financial success in the very house or location you currently live. It will be unique to you. Your journey through a wealthy change is equally important – and you should consider this along to way too. Write down where (a) where you want to do your wealthy change, and (b) where you want to achieve financial freedom (a location).
- Why – Now this is one of the most important questions that you need to answer. In fact you need to be honest with yourself (not pleasing other people) when you answer this one. So – why are you doing this ? For your piece of mind and your financial freedom ? For a comfortable lifestyle ? So you can travel wherever or whenever you want ? Write down Your Why !
- When – This is a specific timeframe and or date. For most people who want to cruise along and take their time – it may be within 10 or 15 years time. However, you may be pretty serious about this – so you wan to be totally Financial Independent by 12 or 24 months time. It is important that you write down a specific date – which of course can be changed later – but it gives you a good starting point. Equally as important is the time you need to start and achieve your Wealthy Change journey. (And remember that it is a journey). Write down 2 dates: (a) when you will achieve a good measure of your wealthy change journey (and a dollar figure to that part). And (b) when you will achieve your financial independence freedom (and assign a dollar figure to that date.).
The how will then be the Foundation and road map – using various avenues to get to your Financial Success… Learning from proven Techniques and methods, and from other people who are experts in those fields…. But more on this later.
It is important to note that Your Ultimate Financial Success is NOT the same as your intermediate One. The pathway to success, is your “Wealthy Change” journey : and is exactly that – a journey.
